When exploring sound energies, I may see single or combinations of shapes, colours and textures. Mostly, I see textures. There are usually multiple layers which intertwine and react with each other so they change continually.

Rarely is what I see, static, without motion.

I see geometric forms.

I see grids of light.

I see beauty in original setting.

I am in awe.

An Adventure with Energy ...

Are you sitting comfortably ? Even if you're not, it's time to imagine .......

Let's imagine ... I hear a sound, perhaps a 'G' played by a Viola. As I listen intently and let myself go into the energy of this sound, colours emerge.

I plunge deeper into the sound and it takes on a shape. Barely noticeable at first, the form changes subtly ... and textures appear.

As I expand my senses to fully engage with what is now multi-layered sound energy, it becomes a mass of fine textures and a mixture of colours.

Just imagine what a fantastic array of intricately woven colours and textures a multi-instrumental piece of music creates .....
