To help you appreciate my music, I've been reflecting on my own beliefs and guiding principles in deciding what to share with you here on my website.

The words that come to mind are sincerity, compassion, and humanity. And a paradox: Simplicity in Profundity.

Reflecting . . .

When people are preparing to listen to my music for the first time, I frequently hear statements like "I don't know anything about music." or, "Classical music isn't something I ever listen to."

My response is: listen from your heart, not the mind.

How to Listen . . .

"Hiccups" dot my everyday life from time to time. If this happens, I set composition aside so that what I create represents a high level of consciousness, with just the original, pure energies without "extra ones" slipping in.

When I feel like resuming, very sweet music often comes forward. It’s quietly insistent that it should be heard and flows in on a wave of serenity and joy.

On reflection, I ought to add that the ‘hiccups” frequently bring profound insights.

Hiccups!

‘Silence’ has taken on the role of an ‘instrument’ in my recent music. When I enter the stillness and silence, I go into a state of least excitation ............... where all possibilities are birthed ............. and where Consciousness begins.
